We are a non-profit organization and support our activities through membership and admission fees. Although not required, membership is a very affordable $40 annually.

Dear Ballroom Dance Dallas Members and Friends —
It was great to see you at our October dance, and we hope everyone had a wonderful time.
Thanks to Ben Dela Vega for stepping in at the last minute to teach us some cool American Tango steps and to Mark Van Sickle Music for giving us many opportunities to practice our new moves. Perhaps a little-known fact is that Mark was lead trumpet for Ray Charles and toured the world with him.
If you were in attendance in October, you heard Deborah Jeffrey, Chairman of the Nominating Committee announce the slate of officers that will be voted on in November. It includes the following individuals:

In adherence to our by-laws, Merlyn Monteiro resigned from the Nominating Committee to serve in a Board position. Thanks to all who have agreed to be on our Board if elected, and thanks to the Nominating Committee for their hard work.
Also, our Membership Drive begins in November. You can renew now and enjoy 14 months of reduced admission and receive an updated Directory in March. We hope you will take advantage of this great opportunity.
Our Thanksgiving Ball will be on November 16 and feature The Classic Swing Band along with a West Coast Swing lesson by Dana Vonn. So, mark that date on your calendars and join us for another good time.

We have both a Summer and a Winter Dress Code.
Many of our dances have a theme, and you may always dress the theme.
No Jeans, T-Shirts or excessively revealing clothing, please.

Gentlemen: Coat & Tie or Tuxedo
Summer Dress Code:
(May, June, July, and August)
Ladies: Dressy Casual or After 5
Gentlemen: Dress Shirt (long or short-sleeved), Dress Slacks, Coat & Tie Optional
