Hello Ballroom Dancers,

Get ready to dance, although, if it rains, we’ll be nice and dry in Sokol Hall. That is a fun picture, but better left for movie pictures! In March, we enjoyed a wonderful Salsa lesson by Reese Fuentes and Gail Horne. They always present a lesson with class and style. And we had the opportunity to introduce a new band for Ballroom Dance Dallas, Just Jazz, under the direction of Bob Putnam. We received many compliments on their presentation and look forward to dancing with them in the future.

There was a flyer about proper dance etiquette. Please take time to look through it so we can maintain a safe environment for all dancers. If you didn’t get one, there will be copies by the front desk if you would like to take one (because I made a lotta them!).

Our dance this month is on April 18, 2026. Back by popular demand is The Doc Gibbs Band. The theme is Dancing in the April Rain. The lesson will be the smooth Bolero given by Lisa Holt and Israel Pena. Their lessons always promise something new!
